Tanzanian Premier League side Azam FC are set to host FKF Premier League side Bandari FC in a pre-season friendly match.

The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 5, at 7:00 pm at the Azam Complex.

Azam FC confirmed that the match will be held at their home ground, the Azam Complex, but it will not be open to fans. The match will not be broadcasted live.

A statement from Azam FC emphasized that the pre-season friendly is a crucial opportunity for the team to fine-tune ahead of the new season.

“#FriendlyMatch Tunatarajia kucheza mechi ya kujiweka sawa kwa ajili ya msimu ujao, tukiivaa Bandari ya Kenya, kwenye Uwanja wa Azam Complex Jumamosi hii saa 1.00 usiku. Mchezo huo hautooneshwa wala kuruhusiwa mashabiki kuingia uwanjani,” the club stated.

KPL sides in TZ

Bandari will be the second Kenya side to play in Tanzanian in this preseason window. Kenya Police faced Singida and Namungo this week with all the matches ending in 1-1 draws.

Kakamega Homeboyz are set for a friendly outside the country and have travelled to Uganda for a match against KCCA.
