Chris Erambo, recently named in Harambee Stars‘ provisional squad for upcoming international matches, has clinched the title of Tusker’s Football Fans’ Player of the Month.

The midfielder outshone competition from the club’s top scorer, Eric Kapaito, and assistant captain Michael Kibwage to secure the award for his outstanding performances throughout February.

Expressing his joy at receiving the accolade, Erambo credited his teammates for their support and acknowledged the fans’ initiative in recognizing players’ efforts.

“I am delighted to be awarded this great honour. I want to thank the fans for their initiative because it will spur us as players to do better.

“I also want to thank my teammates because I wouldn’t have done well without their support. Also much thanks to the coaches for their support always,” Erambo told Tusker Media.

The fans’ Player of the Month award marks a new initiative aimed at acknowledging the best-performing players every month.

Tusker FC signing

Erambo, a defensive midfielder who joined Tusker from Mombasa Elite, has quickly established himself as a pivotal player under coach Robert Matano’s guidance since making the transition from the National Super League to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
