Tickets for the much-awaited FIFA World Cup qualifier match between Harambee Stars and Gabon at the Nyayo National Stadium have officially been sold out.

This was confirmed by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) through a statement shared via social media on Saturday, March 22, 2025, ahead of the Sunday evening clash.

In the statement, FKF also emphasized the tremendous support from Kenyan football supporters.

This Sunday’s game is expected to be an exciting clash as the Harambee Stars want to bolster their bid for a 2026 FIFA World Cup berth. Fans are expected to pack Nyayo Stadium to capacity, creating an electric atmosphere with the red, black, and green colors of the national flag.

FKF thanked the supporters for their steadfast support in a statement and urged them to show up in full force and help the team win.

“All tickets for our FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Gabon are officially SOLD OUT! Your unwavering support means everything! Let’s paint Nyayo red, black, and green this Sunday. Come cheer the team and let your voices be heard your energy could make all the difference,” FKF said in a statement posted on X.

Ticket prices

Earlier, FKF had urged football fans to secure their tickets in time, with the federation reiterating that no physical tickets would be sold. Supporters were able to purchase their tickets exclusively online via tikiti.co.ke or by dialing *51955#, with regular tickets going for Ksh300, VIP tickets for Ksh1000 and VVIP tickets for Ksh10,000.

The deadline for buying the tickets was Saturday, March 22, at 4:00 pm, with FKF terming the match as a crucial encounter for Harambee Stars as they continue their campaign for a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“Football fans can now secure their tickets for the FIFA World Cup qualifier match between Kenya’s Harambee Stars and Gabon, scheduled for Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Nyayo Stadium,” FKF stated.

“This home fixture against Gabon is a crucial encounter for Harambee Stars as they continue their campaign for a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Fans are urged to purchase their tickets in advance and turn up in large numbers to cheer the team to victory!”

Kenya’s Harambee Stars currently sit in fourth place in Group F with six points from three matches, trailing the leaders, Ivory Coast, by 12 points.

Kenya’s last outing saw them play out an entertaining 3-3 draw away against The Gambia three days ago, showing attacking intent and resilience, with Harambee Stars’ South African tactician Benni McCarthy insisting that the 2026 World Cup dream is still alive.
