Ingwee drop points in league opener

Meanwhile, the announcement comes after Ingwe dropped points in their new 2025/2026 Kenyan Premier League season opener after playing to a 1-1 stalemate with 2009 KPL champions Sofapaka FC at the Ulinzi Sports Complex on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Speaking on Sunday, September 21, 2025, AFC Leopards skipper Ken Owino admitted that they just fell short of executing their plan in the game.

“The result is not as we envisaged, as we did not get the three points. We had our plan for the game, but we did not maximise it well for our advantage,” he noted.
