Harambee Stars fullback Eric Ouma marked his fourth appearance for Rakow Czestochowa in style as they thrashed Lech Poznań 4-0 during a league fixture on Sunday at Miejski Stadion Piłkarski Raków.

Ouma, returning to the starting lineup after a substitute appearance in the previous match against Stal Mielec, showcased his prowess on the field, contributing significantly to his team’s commanding victory.

Originating from Nairobi, Kenya, Ouma’s professional journey began with a six-month contract at Gor Mahia in January 2016, which he later extended until the end of the year.

He then ventured into international clubs, including Kolkheti Poti in Georgia (January 2017) and KS Kastrioti in Albania (February 2018), before making his mark with the Swedish club Vasalund in September 2018, culminating in a significant move to AIK in 2020.

During the match against Lech Poznań, Bartosz Nowak opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a precise free-kick from the side of the field, leaving the opposing goalkeeper helpless.

10 minutes later, Gustav Berggren doubled the lead with a powerful shot that found the back of the net past Bartosz Mrozek.

The Swede then secured his brace in the 36th minute with another strike from outside the penalty area, catching goalkeeper Antonio Milic off guard. Raków entered halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Eric Ouma’s side dominance

In the second half, Rakow continued their dominance, adding a fourth goal through Bartosz Nowak’s effort, which came after a well-coordinated attack orchestrated by the Medalik team.

Fran Tudor’s delivery into the penalty area resulted in Nowak’s shot hitting the post and rebounding off Mrozek into the net.
