A youthful aspirant has entered the race for Nyeri Governor seat.

Fredrick Gakuru Muchoki has promised a bruising battle for the seat in the upcoming polls.

A student of Master of Arts in International Relations, Gakuru says he has decided to run for the highest seat of the governor of Nyeri county saying the time has come for the youth of Kenya to step into the political ring and make the difference in terms of alternative leadership in the country.

 “I want to bring freshness into the leadership of our Nyeri County,” he says.

He envisions a Nyeri County where residents have the chance to become rich from the kind of mega development plans he brings to the people of Nyeri once elected as the governor of Nyeri on August 9.
