WIB-Kenya chair wins regional award in the CEO Global Pan African Awards

The Women In Business-Kenya chairperson Mary Muthoni has been feted by the CEO Global Pan African Awards 2019.

This was in recognition of her achievements as a country winner in the Business and Professional Service sector of the CEO Global’s most influential women in business and government in 2019.

Her efforts in empowering Kenyan women excellence in business have been pivotal in her recognition.

The awarding ceremony was held in Nairobi’s Boma Hotel yesterday. They seek to honour excellence in the private and public sectors, covering 23 economic sectors and has for the past 17 years independently recognised leaders who are at the pinnacle of their respective industries.

She said: “It gives me much pleasure to have been awarded and named a 2019 Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government.

“I got the two awards both for country and the region.

“This is in relation to the effort put to create impact, sustainability and visibility for women doing business.

“I thank God for the opportunity, for the grace and strength to continue serving this country. I want to thank my mentors and the people I look up to, the people I emulate and most importantly, our Father who art in heaven.”
