Wavinya assures investors of best policies, support

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reassured local and international investors of best policies and business environment to support their investments in the county.

Ndeti said she had not introduced new taxes or increased the rates since her administration took office.

The Governor spoke yesterday during the grand opening of Sinoma Roofing Kenya Ltd factory in Lukenya, Mavoko constituency.

She observed that every month a new company set up plant in Machakos adding that Machakos was strategically placed within reach of major infrastructure facilities for Investors to thrive.

“My government has created a vibrant and a friendly business ecosystem that gives investors a proper latitude to thrive in their ventures. Indeed Machakos is the place to invest,” said Ms Ndeti.

The Governor also urged Investors to adhere to set environmental and quality standards to guarantee safety of the products and the end users.

Sinoma Roofing System General Manager Wu Shuang said the new plant had employed 200 workers with a target to produce 3 million meters of roofing material per year. Sinoma is a subsidiary company of the China National Building Material Group (CNBM)with headquarters in China.
