United Opposition’s itinerary

On May 21, the tour will proceed to Kagaene, Mikinduri, Kianjai, Ruiri, and later, Isiolo, where leaders are expected to address issues affecting both Meru and Isiolo counties.

The following day, May 22, the team will continue engagements in Laare, Mutuati, Kiengu, Maua, and Maili Tatu and conclude the day in Muthara, with a focus on strengthening local political structures and community outreach.

On May 23, the leaders will hold a media engagement, followed by a church service in Meru town and an elders’ meeting, where cultural and leadership consultations are expected to take place.

The tour will conclude on May 24 with a Sunday service at Kinoru in Meru town before wrapping up with a public rally at Makutano, which is expected to draw large crowds and mark the climax of the regional tour.

This comes at a time when the united opposition is being accused of not going far away from the mountain; it has been accused of rotating in the Mt Kenya region and not putting focus on other regions.
