Ulinzi Stars sign trio to strengthen squad

FKF Premier League side Ulinzi Stars have announced the addition of three new players during the ongoing midseason transfer window.

Javan Omondi, an 18-year-old left-footed player from National Schools football Champions St. Anthony’s Boys has joined the team.

Ulinzi Stars expressed their excitement about the talented youngster, believing he will bring a unique and melodious quality to the squad.

The club officially welcomed Omondi, stating, “We are delighted to announce the signing of 18-year-old Javan Omondi, an exceptionally talented left-footed player from St. Anthony’s Boys. Get ready for a symphony of skill on the field as this young sensation brings a unique melody to our squad! Welcome to Ulinzi, Javan.”

In addition, Ulinzi Stars has secured the services of striker Edward Odhiambo from Vickers Football Club. The club aims to strengthen its attack, which has produced only 14 goals in the first 17 league matches.

The announcement reads, “We are happy to announce that we have acquired the services of striker Edward Odhiambo from Our Brother’s DIV 2 side Vickers Football Club. Welcome to Ulinzi, Odhis.”

The third signing is Leshian Mootian, who joined from FKF Division 2 side Kahawa United FC. Ulinzi Stars expressed their delight in acquiring the talented and passionate player,

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Leshan Mootian from our Brother’s DIV 2 side Kahawa United FC. We’re thrilled to have your talent and passion on board. Get ready to make magic happen on the field! Welcome to Ulinzi, Leshan,” they announced.

Currently, Ulinzi Stars is just three points above relegation, having secured five wins, two draws, and 10 losses in the 2023/24 campaign.
