UDA’s John Njuguna beats Jubilee’s Kariri Njama to win Kiambaa seat

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has clinched the Kiambaa parliamanetary seat in the recently concluded by-election.

John Njuguna Wanjiku, the flag bearer of UDA clinched the seat by 21,773 votes trouncing Jubilee’s Kariri Njama who garnered 21,263 votes.

A total of eight candidates participated in the election among them Evans Wainaina of the People’s Party of Kenya, Kamau Willie Mbugua an independent candidate and Muchugi Isaac Karomo of the Federal Party of Kenya.

Others were Munyinyi David Mugo an independent candidate, Muthaka Lucy Wanjiru of PNU and and Richard Njoroge of The New Democrats.
