Tusker extend Ojok, Momanyi deals
Tusker FC have extended the contracts of two key players, captain Charles Momanyi and Ugandan striker Deogratious Ojok, for another season.
Momanyi, who joined the Brewers three seasons ago, has been secured for another year. This new deal follows an extension he signed last season.

After the departure of Humphrey Mieno, Momanyi was appointed as the team captain. Despite battling injuries for most of the first half of last season, Momanyi made a strong comeback and became a crucial part of the squad in the final matches, scoring two significant goals.
Momanyi joined Tusker FC from Gor Mahia in August 2021 and has a decorated history in Kenyan football, having won multiple league titles with both Gor Mahia and Tusker FC.
Ojok has also committed to another season with the Ruaraka-based side. His extension comes after a challenging season where he struggled with fitness due to injury.
Nevertheless, Ojok’s performance was impressive, as he scored five goals and provided three assists in the 13 matches he featured in.
\Notably, he scored the first and last goals of the season against Bandari FC and Kakamega Homeboyz, respectively.
Ojok target for Tusker
Expressing his excitement about the extension, Ojok said, he is keen to be fit next season as he hopes to hit double digits for the former League Champions.
“I am glad to have extended my contract and my hope is that I remain fit this season. I have worked so much on my physical fitness and hopefully, I will score double-digit goals,” Ojok told the club’s media.
Ojok initially joined Tusker FC in August 2021 on a two-year contract that was set to expire in 2023. The club acted swiftly to secure his services for the future by extending his contract until 2024.
