Trans Nzoia: Residents welcome BBI report

Leaders from across the political divide in Trans Nzoia county have hailed President Uhuru President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the launch of the long-awaited Building Bridges Initiative, saying the document will usher in a new political dispensation that will bury all ills related to past elections.

ODM strategist Engineer George Awour led the orange brigade in Kitale thanking the two leaders for their efforts to make the country united and challenged Kenyans of goodwill to support the initiative he described as a milestone for this country.

”We salute the two gallant sons of this country, President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga for putting their interests aside and putting Kenya first. We are appealing to all people of good will to support this initiative,” he said during an interview with the People Daily in Kitale.

He urged the women and the youth to support the initiative since it has demonstrated that all their demands had been captured.
