The CEO of a parastatal is living in fear after an investigative agency started probing claims of corruption linkied to a senior government official to the organisation.

The CEO is said to have confided in friends that some powerful people in government could be planning to use him as a sacrificial lamb in the fight against graft.

The man has been frantically making calls to senior State officials seeking for intervention in vain.
