1. King Charles III’s Day 2 in Kenya

King Charles III and Queen Camilla yesterday embarked on a four-day visit to Kenya, commencing with a tour across various landmarks in Nairobi City, encompassing the State House, the Tomb of the Unknown, and the Tunnel of Martyrs.

The State visit enters day two today.

The agenda for the visit emphasizes the collaborative efforts between Britain and Kenya, specifically centred on addressing climate change issues and advancing opportunities for the youth.

Scheduled activities include meetings with faith leaders to deliberate on community development and participation in environmental initiatives. These activities encompass a session with activist Wangari Mathai and a visit to an urban farm, aimed at furthering discussions on environmental issues.

2. Education Committee Meeting

The Committee on Education, led by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, will have a meeting this Wednesday.

The discussion will cover topics like capitation to learners, scholarships, distribution of textbooks, and digital learning.

3. Cyberweek Africa Cybersecurity Conference

The inaugural Cyberweek Africa-2023 cybersecurity conference taking place at the University of Nairobi will conclude this Wednesday.
