Nakuru County today played host to a high-octane political event, with ODM leader Raila Odinga meeting the youth and electorate in Naivasha.

Raila would take the opportunity to recall the unfulfilled promises by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

He questioned sentiments by DP Ruto on the analogue and digital narrative during the 2013 elections where the Jubilee party promised the youth laptops but have changed tune to giving the same youths wheelbarrows.

“Some people said they were digital, and we were analogue, they now want to give out wheelbarrows,” Raila said.

Raila would later hold a consultative meeting with youths drawn from the region. As he continued to popularize his Azimio la Umoja bid.

He rallied the youths present to support his quest to the statehouse.

The ODM leader was accompanied by former Presidential aspirant Peter Kenneth and Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui.
