Sofapaka sign Michael Bodo from rivals Kariobangi Sharks

Former Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka yesterday completed the signing of veteran full back Michael Bodo from league rivals Kariobangi Sharks on a three-year deal.

Bodo’s arrival to the team is timely, given the fact that the club had parted ways with long serving captain George Maelo who held that position for long.

“We have been having a headache in the right full back position but now we have a solution. Bodo is a big signing and we hope he will fit perfectly in the team and help us in our targets next season,” said Sofapaka Team Manager Hillary Echesa.

Bodo who has had stints with Thika United and KCB previously become the third player to join the 2009 champions in the on going transfer window after the arrival of midfielder Roy Okal from Mathare United and goalkeeper Kevin Omondi from Wazito.
