The husband of a nominated Senator is cursing the day he tied the nuptial knot with the politician.

The mheshimiwa has allegedly abandoned the man and their three children and eloped with a young man in his early 30s.

The man says the woman no longer picks his calls and all efforts to send emissaries to her to broker a reconciliation have hit a brick wall.

The abandoned husband has vowed to recover all the resources he used to enable his estranged wife to clinch the nomination to the Senate.
