President William Ruto has announced that the hustler’s fund will be ready by December 2022.

Speaking during the commissioning of the Thiba dam in Kirinyaga County, the commander-in-chief pledged full commitment to the promise he made during his campaigns.

“The Hustler fund will be ready by December. It will be accessed through Saccos without any security. Get ready for single-digit interest rate lending,” Ruto said.

The head of state also reaffirmed to citizens that the Ksh50billion fund will be available to low-income earners.

While reaffirming his commitment to his pledge, Ruto urged farmers to organize groups and join SACCOs so that they benefit from the kitty.

He also noted that Micro, small, and medium, enterprises (MSMEs) would benefit from the program.

“You people need to plan so that you will receive the money… do you think I will bring the government money and give it arbitrarily and then it will be lost?” the head of state posed.
