‘Nyinyi mtajua hamjui’ – Ruto cautions Raila against planned demos

By , April 29, 2023

President William Ruto has insisted that his administration will not tolerate the mass actions planned by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

While addressing a crowd in Malaba, Ruto strongly cautioned that he will ruthlessly deal with all those planning to conduct demos.

He stood firm that he was the leader and as such he will ensure that property and businesses are safeguarded from demonstrators planning to cause disruptions.

He further asserted that the opposition’s plan to counteract his administration with mass actions was disrespectful to him and what he stood for.

Ruto’s sentiments come after opposition leader Raila Odinga called for anti-government protests.
