President William Ruto has bid farewell to Congo Brazzaville Ambassador to Kenya Jean Pierre Ossey, who has completed his tour of duty in Kenya.
While congratulating him for his efforts, President Ruto recognized the role Ossey played in strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
“Bid farewell to Congo Brazzaville Ambassador to Kenya Jean Pierre Ossey, who has completed his tour of duty in our country,” Ruto noted.

During the ambassador’s tenure, Ruto noted that ties between the two countries grew tremendously.
He stated that Kenya and the Congo Republic now have excellent diplomatic and bilateral ties which have led to more interactions between the two nations.
“Kenya and the Congo Republic have excellent diplomatic and bilateral ties that have led to more interactions between our two peoples. This has strengthened trade, business and cultural ties,” Ruto’s statement reads in part.
While hosting the Ambassador at State House Nairobi, Ruto pointed out that Ossey has had a huge impact in strengthening trade, business and cultural ties between Kenya and Congo.
“I congratulate him for his efforts in strengthening the relationship between our two countries,” Ruto added.
