After a series of meetings in the US and UK, Deputy President William Ruto is back in the country and ready to continue with his daily political events ahead of August 9 polls.

Right after his arrival in the country, Ruto hosted a group of leaders who are running for various seats on UDA led by Wajir senate aspirant Hon. Abbas Sheikh at his Karen residence.

Ruto is battling it out with ODM leader Raila Odinga, Democratic Party presidential candidate Justin Muturi, Usawa Kwa Wote party leader Mwangi Wa Iria, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka among others in a contest that has intensified months to the polls.
