Roble Nuno appointed as Commission on Revenue Allocation’s new CEO
By Emmanuel Rono, May 15, 2026Roble Said Nuno has been appointed as the new Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA).
In a statement on Thursday, May 14, CRA Chairperson Mary Wanyonyi Chebukati said the appointment followed a rigorous selection exercise.
She noted that the recruitment process included psychometric assessments and oral interviews held at the Kenya School of Government.

“The Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of CPA Roble Said Nuno as the new Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer. The appointment follows a rigorous and competitive recruitment process conducted in line with applicable recruitment laws and procedures,” Wanyonyi stated in a press statement dated May 14, 2026.
Competitive recruitment process
According to the CRA, the appointment follows a competitive recruitment process held at the Kenya School of Government on May 14, which included psychometric assessments and oral interviews.
CRA Chairperson Wanyonyi said other qualified candidates were also assessed to fill the leadership roles.

“The selection process, which included a psychometric assessment and oral interviews held on 14 May 2026 at the Kenya School of Government, Lower Kabete, attracted highly qualified candidates and was undertaken in accordance with established recruitment guidelines,” CRA stated.
The commission further stated that Nuno brings extensive experience in public financial management and leadership, which will support the Commission in delivering on its constitutional mandate.
Nuno’s role
Nuno is expected to lead the commission in fulfilling its constitutional mandate of overseeing revenue allocation across the country.
Nuno has over 30 years of experience in accounting and public finance, supported by his qualifications as a certified public accountant (CPA K) and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
He previously worked as the CEC (Finance) and CEC Health, Director of Revenue in Garissa County, Kenya Urban Roads Authority and the Ministry of Roads and Public Works.
