Parliament has listed areas across the country where public participation will occur in the motion to impeach Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

The discussions are set to begin on Friday, October 4, 2024, after National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula directed the clerk to publish the list of areas where the motion will be subjected to debate in all 47 counties.

In Mombasa County, the discussions will take place at the Tononoka Grounds while similar discussions will take place in Taita-Taveta’s Mwatate CDF Hall.

In Kwale County, the participation will take place at the Kwale Cultural Centre while in Kilifi County talks will be done at the Coast Development Authority Hall in Kilifi.

In Garissa County, the discussions will be done at the Hola County Hall while in Lamu they will be conducted at the KCB Hall.

Wajir ICT Hall will host the county’s discussions while Garissa County talks will be held at the Government Guest building.

Mandera Social Hall will host the County’s public participation while those in Marsabit will conduct the talks at the Catholic Hall.

In Meru, the talks will be held at the Kamende Hall while similar talks in Isiolo will be held at the Catholic Diocese Hall.

Tharaka-Nithi County debates will be at the Katwana County Hall while the discussions in Embu County will be done at the IFAD Hall.

Kitui Multi-Purpose Hall will host the Kitui County talks while Machakos Social Hall will be the venue for similar discussions in Machakos County.

Wote Green Park Gardens will host the Makueni County talks while Nyandarua County’s discussions will be at Ol Kalou’s CDF Hall.

Nyeri Cultural Hall will host the county’s talks while Kirinyaga Central CDF Hall will be the venue for the County’s talks.

The Murang’a University of Teaching Hall will host the County’s talks while Kiambu Social Hall will be the venue for Kiambu County discussions.

In Turkana, the talks will be at the Turkana University while in West Pokot the talks will be done at the County Hall in Kapenguria.

Maralal Vocational Hall will host Samburu County talks as Kitale Museum hosts Trans-Nzoia County discussions.

Uasin Gishu talks will be held at the County Hall in Eldoret while Elgeyo Marakwet talks will be at the KMTC Iten Grounds.

Eliud Kipchoge Complex will host Nandi County discussions while Busia County Hall will hold similar talks in the County.

The Red Cross Hall will be the venue for public participation in Bungoma County while Praise Centre Church will be the venue for Vihiga.

 Baringo Rehab Centre will host Baringo County talks while Laikipia County talks will be hosted at the Nanyuki NGCDF Hall.

Nakuru County’s talks will be at the Kenya Redcross Hall, Narok Youth Centre will host for the County, while Maasai Technical Institute Hall will be the venue for public participation in Kajiado County.

ACK Church Hall in Kericho will host the County’s talks while Bomet’s will be at St Bhakita Youth Training Hall.

Kakamega public participation

Magharibi Hall will host the talks in Kakamega County, Siaya Technical Institute will host the discussions Tom Mboya Labour College will host Kisumu talks Homa Bay will host in the Stadium and Migori County at the Migori TTC.

Kisii County talks will be at the Agricultural Training College and Nyamira County public participation debates will be at the West Mugirango NGCDF Hall.

Nairobi County will host public participation for its 17 constituencies at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
