Politician angling to fill vacuum in City Hall

A former minister in President Kibaki’s administration is reportedly excited at the vacuum created after the government took over some functions of City Hall.

The politician from Central region, who disappeared from the political scene after losing in the last two elections, was overheard telling some friends at a golf club that he is confident he will be picked to oversee Nairobi county.
