Police are looking for a man who brutally assaulted his four-year-old son, killing him on the spot before wrapping the body in a blanket and escaping on Saturday night in Kendu Bay, Homa Bay County.
The suspect, Stephen Otieno, 24 assaulted his son by hitting his face on the floor while he had locked his two other children in another room.
The wife arrived at their rented house in Maguti village and saw traces of blood in the house. She then discovered the body of the son, Raphael Odhiambo, wrapped in a blanket.
Officers from Kendu Bay police station and detectives from Rachuonyo North Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) visited the scene and transferred the body to the mortuary.
