PHOTOS: Madaraka Day celebrations ongoing in Embu

Thousands of Kenyans and delegates arrived at the Moi stadium in Embu County to commemorate 60 years of Kenya’s self-rule.

The Madaraka Day celebrations were held in the newly refurbished facility that cost Ksh476 million according to Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Arts and Sports Ababu Namwamba.

The celebrations are shaping up and so far all the delegates including President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Chief Justice Martha Koome among others have arrived.
