Fifteen people died after two buses collided at Kizingo, Mombasa-Malindi highway on Wednesday, April 7.

Twenty four(24) other passengers were admitted to nearby hospitals, some with severe injuries, officials side.

Kilifi County Commissioner Kutswa Olaka confirmed the incident saying one of the buses was headed to Garissa County and the other one to Malindi.

Several rescuers including the Kenya Red Cross and motorists helped in rescue operations.
