Ruto’s Nyanza tour
President William Ruto will today embark on day two of his tour of the Nyanza region.
Ruto will today launch several development projects in Homa Bay County.
While in Homa Bay County, Ruto will spearhead the launch of the construction of the 53 km Mfangano Island Ring Road and the upgrading to the Bitumen standard of the 74km Mbita- Sindo-Kiabuya-Sori Road.
The president will also launch the rehabilitation of the Homa Bay Pier and other piers such as the Kendu Bay and Asembo Bay Piers, significantly boosting marine transport and tourism.
Ruto will also visit Victory Fish Farms in Sindo, a project crucial for the region’s aquacultural sector growth.
Mashemeji Derby
Arch rivals Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards will today clash in a thrilling match in the Kenya Premier League (KPL).
Ingwe will dare K’Ogalo in the 97th edition of Kenya’s most entertaining football showpiece at Moi Stadium, Kasarani.
Gor are going to miss three key players in their attempt to maul their traditional foe in a must-watch Mashemeji derby.
EPL
Six matches will today be played in the English Premier League (EPL) with Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham up in action.
Man United are desperate for a win as they face Brentford today. Red Devils have so far lost four premier league matches this season, recording only three wins.
Chelsea’s situation is more or less similar to Man United as they have recorded only two wins with three losses in the PL this season. The Blues are also desperate for a win as they clash with Burnley today.
