Nyachae family begins sharing vast empire
The family of former Finance Minister Simeon Nyachae has announced how it is formally planning to distribute his multi-billion shillings empire as per his will.
In a notice that was published in the Kenya Gazette, three of his children on behalf of the family asked anyone in the country who believed had a right to get a share of his vast estate to contact them.
The main reason of putting up the notice was for the family to alert the public of their intention to distribute his assets.
In the notice, the family directed all those who believe that they have a right to get a share of the estate to contact the family through the Daly and Inamdar Advocates.
Daly and Inamdar Advocates are located at ABC Place which is based along Waiyaki Way in Westlands, Nairobi County.
“Those who think that they are entitled should send their claim or interest on or before the expiry of two calendar months from the date this notice shall appear in the Kenya Gazette,” the notice read in part.
If one who is entitled to the late politician’s estate wont come out in the span of two months as from Friday, September 9- then the assets will be distributed among those who are entitled to it as per his will.
Nyachae who is the former MP for Nyaribari, died in February this year following a long illness and was known for his no-nonsense nature.
He largely invested not only in Kenya but also in other countries making him amongst the most richest politicians to have ever served in parliament.
His investment include in the sectors of; Banking, transport, real estate, manufacturing and agriculture.
The politician left behind five wives who include; Esther Nyaboke, Grace Wamuyu, Sylvia Nyachae, Martha Mwango and Druscilla Kerubo.
