Mudavadi meets Nandi MPs, discusses development projects

In a statement shared on X on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Mudavadi said the session focused on practical measures to ensure government programmes translate into real benefits for residents.

“Service delivery remains the heartbeat of President William Ruto’s agenda, touching communities across the country and driving real impact on the ground,” Mudavadi said
He met with MPs from Nandi County, led by Julius Melly, the Tinderet MP and Chair of the Education Committee at the National Assembly, for a candid discussion on the county’s development priorities. He emphasised the need for actionable steps that improve the livelihoods of ordinary citizens.

“Our conversation centred on practical ways to accelerate progress and ensure government programmes translate into tangible benefits for wananchi,” Mudavadi added.
During the meeting, Mudavadi also outlined the importance of agriculture, a sector that employs millions of Kenyans and is critical to food security and economic stability.

Mudavadi called on leaders to advocate for approaches that directly impact communities rather than focusing on political rhetoric.
He added that the meeting provided an opportunity for MPs to share challenges they face in delivering government programmes and to propose solutions that would maximise impact for residents.
