By , October 10, 2020

Cherangany Member of Parliament(MP) Joshua Kutuny has urged the Kenya National Highway Authority (KENHA) to erect speed bumps on the Kitale – Kachibora highway and curb rising carnage.

He said some sections of the road connecting Kipkeikei and Kachibora have become black spots over accidents that have claimed four lives in two months.

“Following consultations with KENHA officials,  I am happy that engineers from the authority will move to site from Monday next week to erect speed bumps,” he said.

The MP was speaking in Mwaita village in Cherangany on Saturday during the burial of the late Viola Chepkemboi Kibet.

He called on all the road users to be cautious along the road to curb further accidents.
