Moi spends second night in hospital

By , October 15, 2019

Retired President Moi yesterday spent the second night at The Nairobi Hospital where he is undergoing routine medical check-up — according to his aides.

His press secretary Lee Njiru confirmed to People Daily that the former Head of State was admitted at the facility.

“Yes, it is true but I will call you once I get full information,” said Njiru on phone.

He, however, said there was nothing to worry about adding that Moi was in high spirits. A team of doctors led by his personal physician, Dr David Silverstein, were looking after him.

Moi, 95, traveled to Tel Aviv, Israel for treatment for an unknown ailment in March last year but the condition appeared not to have cleared since he was again admitted at the same hospital on December 12.
