Wetang’ula on preparedness
The former Bungoma county senator also told Kenyans to be ready at all times.
In a heartfelt appeal grounded in a scriptural reflection, Wetang’ula cited Matthew 24:32–33, emphasizing the importance of preparedness and vigilance in uncertain times.
“Matthew 24:32–33. “Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know that the time is near, ready to come”. May each one of us dedicate this Sunday for prayers for peace and prosperity of our beloved country. May God be with you all!” Wetang’ula stated.

Uhuru on peace
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, November 16, 2024, emphasised the importance of peace in the country.
The fourth president was speaking during the consecration of Bishop Peter Kimani in Embu.
The former Head of State said that each citizen should pray for the country and avoid issues that might bring about division.
Viongozi mheshimu wananchi na watarudisha hio heshima,” Uhuru said.
