Burna Boy performance
Kenyans are expected to continue reacting to the MadfunXperience concert. The concert that was held at Nairobi’s Uhuru Gardens on March 1, 2025, was headlined by Grammy award-winning Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy.
It featured Kenyan Afro-pop singing sensations Charisma and Bensoul and South African Amapiano DJ, Vigro Deep, alongside a scintillating array of local and foreign DJs, with Sauti Sol pulling a surprise performance alongside Burna Boy.
Burna Boy, who last performed in Kenya eight years ago, travelled to Nairobi for the first time with his entire band, The Outsiders. The Outsiders are known for their precision and ability to bring Burna Boy’s studio sound to life on stage.

Politicians in churches
Several political figures are expected to flock to various churches across the country for worship. As per the norm, they are expected to take to the church pulpit and make political remarks based on the issues affecting the country.
Politics surrounding the 2027 elections are expected to feature opposition leaders leading an onslaught against President William Ruto, whose allies are expected to continue defending him against the criticism he has been receiving.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is one of the politicians in the opposition known for criticizing his former boss during church services.
FKF Premier League
In the Sunday fixtures of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League, Bandari FC will mount a challenge against Tusker FC in a high-stakes match. With Tusker currently second in the table and just one point behind the league leaders, a win would be crucial in their bid for the top spot.
The Brewers recently strengthened their squad over the weekend, adding more firepower to their title chase. However, Bandari will not go down easily, as a victory would propel them into the top five.
Meanwhile, Murang’a Seal will take on Mathare United in another closely contested affair. Struggling in 14th place, Murang’a Seal have failed to register a win in their last six matches, suffering four defeats in that period. They will be desperate to turn their fortunes around, but Mathare will not be an easy opponent.
