Man dies attending the burial of five family members who perished in a road accident

There was a tragedy in Nyakahura village, Kangema in Murang’a County after a middle-aged man who was attending a burial fell from a bus and died on the spot Friday morning.

• The man was attending the burial of the five family members who died in a road accident at Kwangolia area on Wote-Machakos road.

The victim is said to have fallen on his head while alighting from the bus a few meters away from the burial site, and he died on the spot.

This caused confusion as the mourners first rushed to the scene to witness yet another horrible scene which left them in shock.

“He was alighting from the bus and he fell down on the road injuring his head” said one of the witnesses.

The body was taken to Murang’a county mortuary.
