Majority of Kenyans believe United Opposition will stick together in 2027 – TIFA survey
A majority of Kenyans believe the opposition will remain united as the country heads to the 2027 elections, according to the latest TIFA survey.
The survey, revealed on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, found that 32 per cent of respondents think it is “very likely” the opposition will stay together, while 30 per cent said it is “somewhat likely”.
Meanwhile, 29 per cent said the unity is “not very likely”, with nine per cent affirming an ‘unsure’ response.

The pollster has, however, revealed that even as expectations remain nearly evenly divided about the likelihood of opposition unity in the 2027 elections, the question made no distinction between (a) supporting a single presidential candidate and (b) refraining from fielding multiple candidates in ‘down-ballot’ (parliamentary and country) contests.
