Loise Kim: My hubby had deserted me for eight years
Gospel artiste Loise Kim has dismissed as street talk the reports that she regrets divorcing her husband.
“Contrary to the assumption of many people, I have no regrets whatsoever. I moved on a long time ago. My husband was the one who left me while he was abroad.
He had left me for eight years, and I saw absolutely no need to hold on to someone who’s already made his own decisions. Out of sight, out of mind. But he’s always in contact with our children as their father,” she intimated to Spice on the sidelines of a dry run for the upcoming Mashujaa Day in Kirinyaga county on Tuesday.
Loise added that she may toss her hat in the ring in the 2022 General Elections, saying that nothing stops her from vying.
A rumour has been circulating that she has been setting herself up to vie for the Kiambu Woman Rep post, a thing she never confirmed or denied. “You know this is a free country.
No one is entitled to any elective seat. If I have what it takes to stand, then no one can tell me not to,” she said. In the recent times, the Neti hit singer has been making headlines for making controversial posts on social media, addressing the institution of marriage and love, among other social topics.
“Some of these topics stem from my personal experiences, while others are real life happenings that people must be made aware of,” she says.
