‘Let unruly kids go home’ – Magoha’s stern warning to principals, parents ahead of third term

By , December 28, 2021

Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha has sent a stern warning to students ahead of schools reopening in January 2022.

Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of two classrooms at the Mombasa Secondary School for the physically handicapped, Magoha said students should be sent home instead of them destroying school property.

“The renegade children who want to go home to rest, we shall allow them. If there is a child who doesn’t want to go to school and wants to go and rest with his parents, to take exams from home, let him go, rather than destroy the infrastructure,” CS Magoha said.

The CS further revealed that the ministry had disbursed funds to schools ahead of opening of the third term on January 4, 2022.
