The battle for the Brookside 2025 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term One National basketball games moved a notch higher on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Shimo La Tewa grounds in Mombasa.

Nairobi representatives Dagoretti High proved the huge winners of the second day action, claiming a comfortable 102-68 over Pioneer School.

The win moved Dagoretti to pole position in the Pool A standings that consist of Dr. Aggrey (Coast), Pioneer School (Central), Dagoretti High (Nairobi), and Friends School Kamusinga (Western).

Dagoretti kicked off their run on Tuesday with a stunning 95-71 victory over the defending basketball champions and coast representatives, Dr Aggrey High School.

Lukenya School joined the capital-based rivals among the teams with a clean slate after Match Day 2 following a 64-56 win over fancied Laiser Hill.

Nyanza representative, Sawagongo bounced from the opening defeat to down Wajir High 104 – 59 in their second game of the group.

The loss compounded matters for the North Eastern side, who remain winless after a couple of opening games.
