Kisii MCA Kennedy Mainye dies after a short illness

Kiamokama Member of Kisii County Assembly(MCA), Kennedy Mainye has died.
Majority leader, Timothy Ogugu confirmed the MCA died in Narok County as he was being to Nairobi for treatment.
Speaking on the People Daily, Ogugu said Mainye has been sick since Monday and was taken to Oasis Hospital on Thursday and was placed under Oxygen.
“His situation was worse and put at High Dependence Unit on Saturday,” Ogugu said.
The Magenche Ward MCA said he talked to the deceased’s wife at 6 a.m yesterday and told him he was improving but was under oxygen.
Mainye was elected in 2013 and 2017 through the Orange Democratic Movement ( ODM) party. He was the Vice-Chairman, Trade, Industry and Tourism. The late MCA was a Member of the Speaker’s panel and Budget and Appropriation Committee.
