Kiambu Covid-19 fund targets to raise over Sh2 billion

Kiambu County COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund is targeting to raise Sh2 billion to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
The fund will be used in the distribution of food to about 27,000 vulnerable people and equipping the county health facilities.
Also, businesses affected by the coronavirus crisis will benefit from the fund in form of loans.
Already, the committee led by George Muhoho has donations worth Sh130 million in cash and in-kind.
