Khaligraph ends beef with Nigeria’s Blaqbonez

By , August 27, 2021

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones and  his Nigerian counterpart Blaqbonez have buried the hatchet.

The two have had a tiff for close to two years, but they made up in Kenya where they shared a studio session recently and made music together.

In January last year, the duo had a go at each other after Blaqbonez was aggrieved at the fact that Khaligraph had won the Best Hip-hop Act award at the 2020 edition of the Soundcity MVP Awards ahead of him.

To lift the gong, the Mazishi hit rapper also beat the likes of Falz from Nigeria, South Africa’s Kwesta and Ghana’s Sarkodie (who held his album listening party in Nairobi last night).

Khali followed his win with a diss track Best Rapper in Nigeria, which prompted a reply from Blaqbonez titled Green Blaq Green, released only a day later.

Now after a year and eight months since that episode, the two rappers were pictured in the studio making music together. Hope it’ll be smoking!
