Singer Anchor (real name Maina Victor) is redefining all odds in the music scene, and judging from his latest release titled Kicha, he is not here to play taking to account the huge load of cash he splashed in its making.”I spent close to Sh800,000 on this song and it sure has paid off.

Rebranding yourself and making a comeback in the music scene is not a joke; you have to go all out and play your cards right,” he says Anchor, grew up in Ruiru where he says he did all manner of jobs.

He says juggling between many odd jobs to make a living was not an easy task, but music being his inspiration, he had to make it a reality. The fashionable lad, who was recently spotted clad in a Sh150,000 Nike Air (Fear of God eidition) says: “Where I am now is by the grace of God and hopefully I will reach out to many people and possibly give back to the community with my music.”
