Kenyan actor Edi Gathegi stars in new Hollywood series

Known for his roles in The Twilight Saga, The Blacklist, X Men: First Class House and Start Up, he has landed a new role as an estate attorney AD Singe in the mystery crime series Briarpatch, streaming on Showmax.
Briarpatch, from Andy Greenwald and Sam Esmail, follows Allegra Dill (Rosario Dawson), a high-powered investigator who returns to her hometown to investigate the mysterious circumstances of her sister’s death, and in the process uncovers a web of lies, conspiracies and corruption.
