Kenya registers 389 new coronavirus cases

Kenya has recorded additional 389 new coronavirus cases after 3545 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced on Friday during a press briefing in Murang’a County.

This now takes the total number of cases in the country to 12062.

Of the cases, 385 are Kenyans while four are foreigners.

The youngest is five months old infant and the eldest one is a 95-year-old man.

Five more patients died in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of fatalities to 222.
