Kenya on Thursday recorded 94 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 6,765 tested in a period of 24 hours.

This translates to a positivity rate of 1.4 per cent.

From the cases 91 are Kenyans while three are foreigners and 55 are males and 39 are females.

The youngest is a four-year-old child while the oldest is 83 years.

Total confirmed positive cases are now 254,151 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 2,757,038.

“Sadly, one patient has succumbed to the disease. This a late death reported after conducting facility record audit in the month of November 2021.

“This pushes the cumulative fatalities to 5,315,” Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said in a statement.
