Candidates who sat their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) are set to know their fate today, Friday, January 20, 2023.

Some 884,263 candidates sat the KCSE exam in over 10, 000 centres.

Male candidates were 405,962 while 420,845 were female.

Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu is expected to brief President William Ruto at State House before heading to Mtihani House to release the results.

The CS is neither expected to reveal the top candidate nor school to keep up with the new government policy of discouraging unhealthy competition between schools and candidates.
