KCSE: Moi Girls candidate caught cheating attacks cop

A form four candidate has been arrested alongside three other students for allegedly being caught with ‘mwakenya’, short answer notes at Moi Kapcherop Girls Secondary school in Elgeyo Market County.

This happened in the afternoon of Monday 12th April, 20221 during CRE paper 2 examinations.

Among other people arrested were the school’s principal, eight supervisors and the exam supervisors who allegedly enabled exam irregularities.

More cases have not been reported however Elgeyo Marakwet County Commissioner, Dr.Omar Ahmed issued a warning to exam officials who are planing to allow cheating and said heavy actions will be taken on them.

The arrested students are expected to write the rest of the papers under strict police supervision.
