Allies of Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka have rubbished claims that he solicited a Ksh 3 billion bribe to join ODM leader Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja coalition.

Led by Makueni MP Dan Maanzo, Musyoka’s associates have told their supporters to dismiss the allegations as propaganda and with the contempt it merits, stating that at no time has Kalonzo approached any formation with a price or imagined conditions.

“The character and conduct of Hon. Kalonzo speaks for itself and is above reproach. He is a man who has no single tangible scandal to his name after being in leadership for almost 4 decades,” Maanzo said in a press statement at the Parliament buildings.

“Many Kenyans acknowledge Musyoka as the golden standard of leadership in Kenya being a God-fearing and family man with impeccable values that he aspires to inculcate into the Kenyan system once he assumes the leadership of this country in the August 2022 General Election,” he added.
